Greg Bowker
"After getting my eye behind a camera at an early age, I developed a passion for collaborating with people to help them tell their stories through a lens.
I went on to study photography and landed my first job in the media as a staff photographer at the Whanganui Chronical. It wasn’t long before I moved to Auckland to work for the New Zealand Herald.
During my career, I have had the privilege of covering a wide range of national and international events including visiting royals, Commonwealth Games, major natural disasters, travel pieces and a multitude of characters and tales in between.
My work has been nominated and won numerous awards.
I have a natural ability to relate to people and make people at ease in front of the camera. My eye for composition and technical knowledge coupled with my interpersonal skills result in consistent world class visual imagery."
